I am an anonymous donor. Transplant was in May 2021 at The Ottawa Hospital, General Campus.

My favourite thing about being a transplant ambassador has been interacting with potential donors, answering questions and concerns they have, and reassuring them about the process to become a kidney donor.

The people I have spoken to about kidney donation have been appreciative that I took the time to contact them. I think it was reassuring for them to know that I went through the process successfully and lived to tell about it!
