Spotlight: Hugh Kennedy
We are happy to recognize one of our dedicated ambassadors, Hugh Kennedy, who is from New Maryland, New Brunswick. Hugh donated a kidney to his brother-in-law in October 2023, with the transplant performed in Halifax.
He says of his experience as a donor: "I feel privileged to have been able to support another person in their quest for improved health. If I could do it again, I would. I have been blessed with good health and a comfortable life. I am pleased to share what I have.” 💬
Hugh is a retired public educator and a regular blood donor. He is a musician who played trumpet for 45 years, and currently conducts the University of New Brunswick Concert Band.
He wishes to help others in their personal journeys to good health and is comfortable talking to a wide range of people in different circumstances. 💚
